As long as you wash your rice, you will have the best tasting rice of your life. The rice won't burn at the bottom. The rice also has a slight sweetness to it. If you eat lots of chicken and rice like I do, then this is an investment worth having.

Fantastic rice from this cooker! I’ve only made sweet rice and GABA brown rice so far. Both were perfect! Several failed attempts steaming sweet rice on the stovetop led to this purchaser. Too early to know difinatively, but I seem more relaxed and sleep better when I have GABA rice with yogurt for dessert. I also like this machine for efficient use of energy it consumes by using induction heating with pressure. The rice cooker was marketed with a $30 gift card to be emailed separately. The gift card has not arrived yet. Capable and convenient machine, overpriced. Trust is eroded as the $10 gift card offered to take an online survey indicated ‘no funds available’ when I tried to use it.
