This flashlight could easily get 5 stars if it wasn't for one issue, the tail cap. First, this is my first Surefire light I have purchased. I own a ton of Streamlight flashlights but decided for a carry light I would give this one a shot over the Streamlght because of the tail cop switch option. When I got it, I charged it and at first, I thought it was broken. The rear switch was so hard to depress, I had to push it on the end of a table to get it to work! I'm a truck mechanic so hand strength isn't a problem. I also had several other people try it and they had no luck either. It's positioned awkwardly between raised edges so getting on it is a little difficult. I have to say it has broken in a little and is actually usable now after a couple weeks of use. Programming the light was simple. I wanted the brightest on first so I changed the factory default and it was easy enough. Aside from the awkward rear switch, it's a great light. Worth the price? Made in the USA, absolutely.
