Nice Special 20 upgrade at an affordable price.

The Hohner Rocket is a great way to take a step up from a Special 20 without shelling out the big bucks for the top-of-the-line Hohner or Seydel models (great as they are). Since the reedplates are the same as the Sp20, the Rocket's playability will be familiar, The differences are bigger holes (which takes a little getting used to), an open back, and vented cover plates. All of these enhancements mean more volume and a brighter sound. The Rocket is no my go-to for unamplified acoustic jamming. But don't get rid of those SP20's! I still use mine for a mellower sound.
