This was brought for my son along with other items i purchased he says it has improved the sound of the guitar

I have played with a plain g string for some time now, but always had a bit of an intonation problem. I now have sweet notes all the way up the neck. Additionally with the tusk bridge, I seem to have a little crisper attack and tone.

Gret Saddle, solves intonation issue with plain G but slightly longer would be even better, maybe by a few millimetres.
