TUSQ XL Nut by Graph Tech Model # 6011-00 Slotted Gibson Style

Nut replacement Gibson ES339

This was a full blown rebuild of a cracked headstock nut positioning slot. I didn't have any energy left to make my own nut. I've used Graph Tec products before and they are great. So is their technical support. They suggested PQL-6011-00. I can make a decent nut from a blank but I never get the string spacing right even with the Stewmac template. The Graph Tec nut was a good fit out of the box but needed some work. Some finesse sanding was required but the important thing was the factory string spacing. Most off brand replacement nuts simply don't match the original. My fingers can tell and I always need to adjust to the nut. Graph Tech spacing is for me plug and play. My fingers know.

Great product and support

My Les Paul needed a new nut. I contacted support so they could suggest the correct one for my model guitar. Nut arrived promptly and was a perfect fit. My Gibson now sounds and feels great and stays in tune.

Does not fit an Epiphone SG Custom. Too thin.
