Great solution for riding
Tom Bihn offers a great cross-body bag in the Medium Café Messenger - one of my favorites from TB. I paired it with this Stabilizer and half of a hip belt (see guidance in product description for the specific one) and voila! I can secure a fully weighted and filled Medium Café Messenger over my XXL riding gear and be comfortable both physically and in peace of mind that everything I’m carrying is secured to me. Great innovative product that is well worth it for cyclists, motorcyclists, scooter riders and more!

Works, but a bit finicky
Works well as a stabilizer, but it likes to slide around unless you tighten it which can make it dig into your side a bit due to the angle. Not much of a big deal if you're wearing a jacket, but can get uncomfortable in a t-shirt.

I tried using it with a SCB, and noticed it only works well if your bag strap is also tight, which can be annoying if you like to wear your bag in a loose fashion.
