excellent hot or cold
I have been ordering this variety for 3+ years. Each year the flavor is a little different, but every year it is great. It is one of the only teas I order that is a very goof hot tea & also makes an excellent ice tea in summer. It is my go to for ice tea.

Not a bad gamble
I have been fortunate to occasionally acquire a very high quality of this rare tea. I had run out and found it here. It is a good tea but not the quality is not as high as I had hoped. It, however, makes a reasonably good cold brew.

Outstanding cold tea option
The 2022 China Red is completely different than the 2021 China Red. The 2021 is on my top 10 list and I was initially disappointed at how much different the flavor if the 2022 batch was. It has been regularly 100 degrees F this summer where I am, so I have been experimenting with iced teas and found the 2022 China Red makes a really exceptional cold tea. So, 5 stars for it’s outstanding ice tea potential. As for hot tea, the 2021 batch was much more flavorful and interesting, at least for my particular taste preferences.
