Hints of Pipe Tobacco

Reminds me of the time I accidentally steeped some vintage pipe tobacco in a gaiwan thinking it was a crumbled pu-er cake… I usually like to enjoy red teas a little on the strong side and coax out a bit of tannin, but this one doesn’t take well to the over steep. Not a bad tea. Creates a nice inky broth.
