great pattern. I had a little trouble doing them(never made any shoes) but read and reread and watched video and finally made a pair. Once you make a pair the others are easy. All in all I find this pattern great and would purchase more shoe patterns.

Jane's shoes

I made several pair of both the open toe and closed toe Janes. I thought it would be a good pattern to start with since I could follow along with the Simply Shoes master class. I have to say they are adorable. However, they only "technically" fit. I can get them on my doll's foot using a stick for a shoe horn, but I can't believe a child would be able to get them on. Getting them over the heal is a trick. Yes, all the seams are exactly 1/4 inch and I used all the tricks given in the video. They are cotton fabric.
