Our Favorite Bean
I learned to grow these beans from my Grandfather, 55 yrs ago. Although they were fence beans back then. Still our favorite bush bean and they freeze well. A little difficult to sprout as they like the soil warm, so don't plant too early.

roma II Italian green bean.
I have planted this bean for the last 10 or so years. Our family prefers it to ANY other type of snap bean. I have planted both climbing and bush type. Both taste great. But as I have gotten older, I have settled on the bush type in my raised beds.
