AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner

Gentle chemical exfoliator, helps prevent inflamed breakouts

I've been using this for almost 6 months now and it has been a great step towards clearer skin for me. I have transitioning skin (used to be really oily, now its more combo/normal) and have always had cystic acne. Since using this, I don't get those deep nodules anymore. I do still get some surface level blemishes (like 3-5 "sprinkle sized" whiteheads around my jaw) related to hormone fluctuations, but they are treatable with topical spot treatments where they cysts I used to get were not. I used to feel like there was nothing I could do about my breakouts because most topicals don't treat active cysts/inflammatory acne, but going a more preventative/upkeep rout has made all the difference. I think it has really helped my dead cells shed more regularly without the irritation I experience with any kind of physical exfoliant (I'm talking even a washcloth), which I'm guessing is why I'm not getting those deep unreachable nodules anymore. My skin has become more sensitive in the past few years and I can't rely as much on salicylic acid and benzol peroxide as I did in my teens, but this has given me no problems! I use it along with the associated serum, Sioris "Day by Day" cleanser and the Neutrogena water cream/gel moisturizer and have had no sensitivity reactions to it. Also, does a great job of evening my minor texture. My skin just feels a lot softer and less gritty than it used to. I have recommended it to my older sister and several friends with similarly sensitive skin and none of us (even chemical exfoliant newbies) have had adverse reactions. It does have a bit of a texture to it when you spread it across your face. At first I thought maybe I hadn't gotten my cleanser all the way off before putting my toner on but I tried just the toner later in the day to refresh and it still had sort of a milky film (which then absorbs) as I spread it so don't be alarmed if you see that.

Slightly irritating but effective

I thought this toner would be my life savior. But, turns out I cannot use it that much, or else my skin will turn super red. Also realized that I cannot use with cotton pads, just my hands. Now, I’ve been using 2x/week and it is so much better.

I know this is a hyped product but it honestly exceeded my expectations! For an AHA/BHA/PHA toner it's gentle and even soothing from the tea tree!
