Matthew the Tax Collector

I purchased this statue for my son's upcoming 12th Birthday. Before my son's birthday, my wife and I were deciding on a name, and she came up with the name Matthew. I came up with his middle name Joseph. Can't say enough about Italian Wood Carvings...the intricate detail is unbelievable. Odd thing is, son Matthew loves numbers. I have purchased over ten statues. I am running out of choices for saints. My next one will be Saint Thomas the Apostle who is the patron saint of my wedding day, July 3rd.
