Good quality

We had a previous set of same pattern about 25 yrs and this set even better quality

I have always thought of Mikasa as a leader in dinnerware and quality home decor. However, through my recent purchase, that quality was not there entirely. The French Countyside dinnerware has too many pinholes and glaze defects. Definitely a departure from the quality I experienced in past purchases. I have written an email in regards to this issue and have not heard back. I think a return of the items for a refund is now my only option. Such a shame, the dinnerware is beautiful, I had hoped to expand on the collection through more purchases.
