Messenger - Walrus Hats Grey Center Dent Wool Felt Fedora Hat

Asymetrical brim shape.

I knew this hat was more likely intended for a woman, so I replaced the feathery band with a black rustic leather band and made it into a man's hat. It looked pretty good. The material is a thicker wool and fairly stiff. This hat would a good durable hat and probably well suited for a work hat. Unfortunately, one side of the brim was not symmetrical with the other. When wearing the hat, the right side was wider and flatter than the left side where the right side was shorter with noticeably more upturn. I tried reshaping the hat with steam, but the shape was locked in and kept returning back to that lopsided asymmetrical shape. It looked silly. I ended up giving the hat to Good Will.
