I bought these for my husband for his birthday/Father's Day/Anniversary gifts. He read through the first volume in 5 days and is starting the second one. He said he really finds them interesting and really enjoys the stories and facts. He is a big history buff and some books he has read are not nearly as good as these are!

Father’s Day gift for a retired history teacher.

Bought these for my retired history teacher husband for Father’s Day. So glad I did. He thanks me every time he picks one up. He says they were written by a history teacher. He likes the books a lot.

Fast service. Have been reading but not exclusively. Christmas gift for my brother. Our Father and Uncles all served in WW II. We were fortunate, all came home safely but changed in many ways! It was a hard time in our lives. I am thankful and feel very blessed!
