Comfortable Heel Cups

These cups worked well in my hiking boots to protect my big heel spur from hurting like crazy. What I found was they could be about 1/4" higher on the back heel side to do a good job of covering the heel bone, and the egg crate design for the cushioning needed to be trimmed off so the cups didn't push my foot so far forward into the toe of the boot. I trimmed off the rear egg crate material so the cup would fit firmly and completely up against the heel of the boot interior.
