Replacement alarms

We moved into a new house and alarms started chirping. Took one down and it was 2005 build. All of them were. Checked the website and found a compatible dual alarm with 10yr battery so I didn't have to rewire them all. The base was just a smidge smaller so I have a tiny outline of a paint ring around each one, but if you don't look you don't see it LOL. Alarms arrived very quickly, best price on the net, and I didn't have to rewire 12 hook ups.

Wholesale home stands behind their products. I had some concern on the first detector I ordered as it appeared the packaging had been comprised upon delivery. Wholesale home immediately shipped me a replacement after I had expressed my concern, no questions asked. These detectors replaced the Kidde alarms that had been installed 10 years ago. While the alarm does come with the wiring harness, if you don't purchase the ADK-12 harnesses, which allows you to plug the existing wiring into the ADK-12 and then into the new First Alert, you will need to remove the current harness and wire the new harness that comes with the alarm. I chose to just remove the old harness and install the new one. If you don't feel comfortable with doing house wiring, then you should consider purchasing the ADK-12 adapters whereby you will not need to mess with any house wiring. I was so pleased with the service from Wholesale home, that I ordered (3) more 9120LBL alarms. While these alarms have the 10 year battery life as well, they are for smoke only. The base of both the SC9120LBL and 9120LBL are exactly the same diameter as the Kiddes that I removed; no need to do any paint touch up.
