Serpentine Wheelset, 29", Astral Approach hubs

Very happy so far

I now have around a dozen rides on these wheels and I am quite happy. They feel reasonably stiff, the bearings are smooth, the freehub sound is pleasant, they have stayed dead true. At this point, I have zero complaints.

Disappointing

The wheelset came in around 2050g measured with tape, no valves, so definitely heavier than the claimed 1850g. The overall build quality is also a little disappointing, after 2-3 rides the rear wheel is already out of true with some uneven spoke tension and the front hub is loose (which can thankfully be easily adjusted but still...). If given the choice again I would have likely gone a different direction for my hardtail build. I will say the fit and finish on the rims was nice, and the wheels ride reasonably well and are compliant on chunky trails.
