Great Wheels, Mediocre Customer Service

First off, the wheels are very nice ans seem well built. However, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a wheelset with an HG11 freehub body and they sent me one with an XDR. When I called Astral for help in getting the correct freehub, the man I spoke with first suggested I drive to Eugene to have it replaced (a 2+ hour round trip from Salem) or purchase the correct freehub (which wasn’t listed on their website as an option) and ship back the incorrect freehub to them at my expense. I heard great things about Astral but was disappointed in how they handled their shipping error. I ended up taking a compatible cassette off one of my other bikes and will probably look for my next wheelset from Chris King who has stellar customer support. And as a side note, I was sent an “appreciation” email for my purchase with a discount code for Astral gear, when I clicked on the link to see what they had, the site said “Sorry, there are no products in this collection.” Maybe they didn't appreciate my business after all.
