The Planets® Collection Gift Set - Galaxy Edition

I've owned Earth, Saturn and Mars for a couple years and they are almost used up because they are my favourite nail polishes. I recently was able to buy the whole collection and I feel so lucky. These are some of the most unique and beautiful nail polishes I have ever seen.

All polishes are buttery smooth! One of the polish seems to have a lid stuck (or it’s very very tight) so I’m having some difficulties opening one of them. However, the others I’ve tried are gorgeous and one of my fav sets!

The set presentation itself is perfect. The box design is lovely and very sturdy. It opens with a magnetic lid which is nicer than a sleeve imo. I have so far only used Venus and was a little disappointed with the magnetic particles reaction. I couldn’t achieve the website looks for cat eye without a black base. That said, with the black base, I only needed one of coat of Venus to magnetize. The holo particles were less dense or visible than the images make it seem. They feel more like a layer of subtle glitter. I guess I was just hoping for a little darker pull and more prominent holo particles when magnetized to give the starry space effect. Overall though, the polish is still quite beautiful and I haven’t even tried the others yet or different magnetic techniques beyond cat eye.
