This is easily the most durable, best sized cheese mold I’ve used. My wheels have been turning out so much better with this!

Durable, Robust Mold with a Design Flaw (IMO)

As other have noted, this is a very sturdy mold & follower that should stand up to almost any realistic pressing weight; and last for years, if not decades, for a typical home cheesemaker. The fit between the mold and follower is snug without being too tight. There are relatively few drain holes on the bottom and sides, but they seem to be sufficient - if it turns out after more use that they aren't, a few minutes and careful use of a hand drill or drill press can change that. My only complaint is that the support ring at the bottom is solid around its entire circumference, without any slots or breaks for whey to escape out the bottom without lifting the mold. I'll be modifying mine by adding some.

Bought one a year ago. Loved it so much I bought 3 more. Makes a great looking cheese. Heavy duty. Quality made. No troubles with them. Easy to clean and they stack nice. Makes a 9 lb cheese.
