Life Saving!

I got these in a couple of colors for vacation in Italy. It was HOT! They got soaked in sweat, but dried so fast. They are soft and I was able to forget I was wearing them because they didn't stick to my skin or creep up on me.

quality, warm, comfortable

I am not a picky or wealthy person but I do need underwear to survive my daily winter routine in the cold mountain environment where I live. Thus I tried several different brands of merino wool underwear last winter, spending a small fortune on each pair, and decided that "wool &" is the best for my need and for my money: Just the right thickness (not too thin like many outdoor brands but not too thick to make me feel I am wearing a diaper under tight fitting jeans) , warm, pretty feminine colors, seemingly made with very high quality, and a good fit. I am pear -shaped, with a larger bottom/ thighs and narrow waist, 5'9" and weight 149 pounds, with a 29" waist and 40- 41" at the widest part of my buttocks. I usually am a size medium, sometimes large, in my pants and shorts. These underwear seem to run true to size - the medium is a close fit and I prefer that. I like the fit of the bikini style in size medium for myself. I also have a pair of the size medium 'boy short' but because I have a large bottom the boy short tends to ride up on my buttocks in the back ( there is no elastic on the bottom of the back side of the boy short). The elastic on the bottom lining of the bottom part of the bikini version keeps the bikini version from riding up my buttocks with walking/ movement. I have re-ordered several pairs of this bikini version in different feminine colors - very worthwhile many- winters -ahead investment! I wish that "wool &" would make a 7-9" long short version in the same wool, ideally with a vented crotch, to be worn under pants in the winter. I would buy them too!

So many pluses

Well made, good fit, work well under long pants (even smooth under cotton), wicking but ventilate and dry well, good for travel, even especially good if you decide to sleep in them, and don’t fade like cotton even after washing (at leaset so far which does include several washings)
