Sizing is way off, protection seems more suited for trail
My thighs measured in the XL range, but my calves measured in the M range. Most of the reviews I could find stated that these ran small so size up when you order. What arrived at my door were kneepads for someone with basketball sized knees. I was also surprised with how thin the protective padding was. I'm not sure I'd trust these on a full DH run.

Best Knee Pad I’ve Used so Far
This was honestly a surprise, I thought I might need an XXL because I have muscular thighs but these fit great, kinda snug at first but then they broke in and fit just right without the dreaded slippage. I had an incident where I got my leg bumped by someone else in a bike and the bike smashed into the knee pad, zero pain came from It. They’re not as ventilated as my Leatt knees but they’re different builds and I prefer these way more.

After years of searching for a comfortable pair of knee pads I have finally found something that fits and is comfortable for all day use. I love these knee pads. I especially enjoy the fact that I don’t have to take my shoes off to put these pads on. The rest of the crew is envious of how simple that they are to take off for short breaks on the mountain. Super easy.
