Love the stretchy waist band

It was so nice to find a pair of board shorts that didn’t have a fitted waist. I, like so many other people fluctuate in my weight so it nice to have a pair of board shorts that will adjust with you. I’ve had to replace several pairs of fixed waist board shorts because I’ve either lost weight or gained it and they didn’t fit anymore. I can tell these won’t have that problem. These are a win but I wish Xcel would make more of this style.

Great fit but haven’t had them in the water yet being my water temps are around 53-55 right now. But, I am thoroughly enjoying my new 5M booties and last years 4/3 wettie. Great product for sure. I have been a Rip Curl guy for 40 years and tried on a 4/3 Infinity from South Swell Surf Shop in my hometown Emerald Isle, NC. Turned out to be the best fitting suit I had put on in years.
