When I used to brew from grain, I tried many times to get that look and taste of the real thing, but it was always not dark enough and too watery, with a head that dispersed too quickly. Not so with this. It looks and tastes just like Guinness, and head retention is fantastic. I didn't think it was possible in a home brew, but I was wrong. This is brilliant - a classic! The yeast supplied with the kit is perfect for this type of beer.

Just pre sampled it for St Patrick’s Day and am very pleased with it And it will continue to improve in the bottles as it matures
