I really loved trying the different types of durian. Each one was unique. For frozen durian, this is the best we've ever had. Very good quality. We will buy more! Here are our notes. Keep in mind, we purchased a variety pack, plus an extra one. Was fun to try them all as a family and record our findings. Our favorite was, of course, the King of the Durians!! #3- Puyat: smells stronger. Tastes less sweet. Stronger taste. #2- D101: smells less strong. Sweet, taste of vanilla. Almost herby. Distinct flavor profile. #4- Red Prawn: Smells very strong. Firmer flesh. More normal durian flavor. Sweet, but the durian flavor lingers more in the mouth #1- Musang King: Very slight smell. Softer. More custard. Sweet. Very nice flavor.
