Farmhouse Cheddar Kit

I haven’t made it yet, partly because it’s very difficult to get raw milk here. I’m very anxious to start. I’m doing a batch of cream cheese today, them I will do some mozzarella. This is a very interesting hobby. I now knowhow to make. Sweater from the sheep, butter from cream, and still learning.

Made my first wheel over the Holidays. It went well but I find the directions aren't as detailed as they should be. For one, they don't say anything about sanitizing your equipment. I had a lot of questions that weren't answered, like how dry is too dry to wax? They also don't talk about the dangers of waxing; did you know that if it gets too hot, the wax can explode? The resources available, the videos and FAQs, aren't enough. I needed to look at other sources to figure it out.

Ordered as an xmas gift. Nicely packaged, arrived in good time. Seller was responsive to Follow-up questions. Proof will be in the pudding, so to speak,when the recipient tackles the cheese making.
