For me, the scent is strongly minty for about half an hour, and then dries down to a faint mint that is covered behind the perfume desired. On me at least, mint can still be faintly smelled, but it does make perfumes last much longer. I can still smell Silken Tent base notes on me even after an exfoliating hot shower!
