I have trouble opening this style of vial and always dislike when this kind of used. Try wiggling the top back and forth to open. The scents itself were great

Beautiful unique scents. My favorites of this sample set are, in order;
As Dark things are meant to be loved
The Raven
Persian Tearoom
Dustaceawung
Old Books and Fresh Flowers
Writer's Blood
All lovely and different. The only one I'm on the fence about is Writer's Blood. I haven't worn it yet. The smell is heavy on the "Ink-y" side. I will definitely give it a try as it may translate very differently on skin. The names chosen are really spot on. Also, I would consider all of these scents to be more Fall/Winter but that's just my own personal preference.

A unique collection from my new favorite perfumery...
I keep opening and smelling these little vials because there is such a story in each one. Raven and Dustsceawing are my favorites, but there isn't one I wouldn't wear. Writer's Blood is the most unique but I need to wear it out to know if I really like it or not. It smells like blood and ink, but there is a mysterious emptiness to it. So haunting. As Dark Things... & Old Books, Fresh Flowers are the more feminine, floral smelling of the set, but still so layered with masc undertones that I'll definitely wear them on Fridays. It's a great sample set and I'll be getting a larger bottle of Raven for sure!
