Magic & Mystery Perfume Sample Set

I LOVE this sample set. It brought me two of my favorite and most used perfumes. Arabesque is something I wear every evening after a bath to wind down. And Attorney for Lost Souls is my go to for everyday wear to work. This set introduced me to Alkemia's incense fragrance notes, which I feel like they do really well, and they also use it to create really interesting perfumes of contrasting elements that make me love some notes that I didn't think I was into at all. I really liked how three of the samples explored different ways to interpret incense, and then the other three were totally different, so it was a great way to get a sense of breadth and depth of their perfumes. Even though one of the samples was not something I would wear, I still respected the blend and was glad I got to try it. One of them I don't think I'll wear regularly but it is so interesting that I want to keep it in my collection for further study. I ended up buying two 5 ml bottles from this set to wear regularly, and I will probably buy a third!

None of the scents smelled like they were described. I was expecting some of the scents to have a woody or earthy scent and all i smelled was old lady white flowers and medicine.Unfortunately, the entire set went in the trash.

Sooo unique and fun. I had been searching for something like Hippie Spirit for so long and I finally found my incense dream perfume!
