Soft yarn with nice drape
I find this yarn to be relatively easy to work with; however, it does have a tendency to split so requires a little extra care while knitting to ensure a strand hasn’t separated. I like the softness and drape of the finished product. I particularly like the yardage so fewer ends to join and the cone works with my rotating spindle yarn holder. The main downside other than the need to watch for split stitches is that on one cone of the two that I purchased there was a knot not too far into the cone (I was about 4 inches into the rectangular shawl I was knitting) and after having to cut out the knot and do a join about another 2 inches in I encountered a spot where there was a break in a couple of the plies which necessitated another join. After that it was smooth sailing and so far on the second cone I have not encountered any knots or partial breaks. I think that first cone must have been an end wind. I wish they’d flag those in some way. Despite that, I would purchase again.

Beginner crochet pants
This yarn makes nice summer pants. I am a new crocheter and I found this yarn easy to use and the finished product feels luxurious. I have since made shorts with this yarn too.

very soft and nice drape. has a good weight to it. will be getting silk city fibers yarn again. I'll try their worsted for my next project!
