Lion Brand® Pima Cotton Yarn

Soft but loose strands

I purchased this yarn to make a toddler's dress. However, as I worked the collar, I realized it was way too thick and bulky for a child's dress. So I ended up making beanies to donate to cancer patients. This yarn is very soft and the colors are nice. The strands are not woven tightly, so I'm getting some splitting. I wanted to give it a try but I'll probably go back to my all-time favorite yarn, the Lion Brand 24/7 cotton. I haven't found anything that looks and feels as good as this yarn.

Disappointed in the pink

I love the Pima Cotton and have worked with several colors, but my last several skeins of the pink aren't one continuous string, and rather several strings tied together. The knots either show up in the blanket OR I undo them and have to work in the ends like I am starting a new skein. I didn't have this with the other skeins I've ordered. Is this common?

Slightly disappointed

Pink Mist used to have more colors than it does now. Also has a smell that I have noticed with the last 24 skeins I purchased. I have bought other colors with this pima cotton and none of them have had the smell. I hope someone sees this and does due diligence. This used to be one of my favorite yarns.
