Perle 5/2 Cotton Cone Yarn

This yarn grabbed my attention.

I was so excited to get my first order of this 5/2 cotton!! I had a whole outfit (top and maxi skirt) to make with this cotton. I love the rich tobacco color. The yarn is fairly soft for mercerized cotton. There were a few things I did not find appealing though. There were sections were it looked like fine bits were woven into the strands which I thought were frays and there are 2 knots so far. I am not even half way through the first cone. And I don't recall cotton being so "grabby". It tangles up on itself. You can't pull out very much from the cone at a time or it can knot. I am almost done with the skirt but I really wish this yarn was better quality.

I absolutely love this yarn. The color is absolutely gorgeous, I got tobacco. Feels super high quality. I am a complete newbie to crocheting and this yarn is super easy to work with.
