Outback GlamSwag - The Bangalow

The product far exceeded my expectations! I purchased hoping it would make sleeping on tne floor during a recent move at least somewhat tolerable… the padding is unbelievable. The floor was not just tolerable, it was actually comfortable. Think I’ll have to get at least one more. Excellent product!

I really wanted to love this product because the concept, design and practicality are great, especially for small spaces. It also looks beautiful and feels aesthetically well made. However, I was honestly surprised by how uncomfortable it is to sleep on. The mattress/padding is extremely thin and offers very little support; it genuinely feels like sleeping on a pillow directly on the floor. After a short time, you can really feel the hardness underneath. I can see it working better as a lounge/play/rest space or for occasional use, but I personally would not recommend it as a proper adult sleeping solution for anyone needing a minimum level of comfort and support. The marketing gives the impression of a much cozier and more comfortable sleep experience than the reality. Maybe it would work better doubled up. Overall, I still really like the concept and aesthetic.

We love how comfortable the Outback GLAMSWAG bed is. Purchased for my grand daughter who loves laying in the floor! She uses it all the time. Will order more for the cottage dock and pontoon boat! Can't wait for stock!
