Chelsea Boot - Earth Waxed Commander

Great boot, beware fit.

Good construction and appearance, I like the super dark brown color and low-profile heel. The smooth leather liner makes the boot slip on nicely, but it makes the fit critical to avoid heel slip especially with the chelsea. I'm a 9-9. 5EE in sneakers (10. 4 inch foot), a size 8. 5E in their Leo last on the diesel boot, and apparently a size 8E E in this chelsea UK last.

Great boots - zero break-in. I am a 10. 5E in the leo last and I ended up with a 10EE in these. I normally wear midweight socks and they fit great. I have a 10. 5d in some loafers and in the dirty buck, and those can be a touch tight when I am not wearing dress socks or no socks so take with that what you will. Great boots and the waxed commander is showing wear nicely.

I'm so pleased with these. First pair of Chelsea boots I've ever owned. The fit seemed off at first as the heel tends to slip, but the more I've worn them the less it's been an issue. Really elegant color and it's already developing a nice patina.
