There’s a ton of products that aim to provide a matte finish along with texture and volume, but few have the balance that GG’s matte cream provides. It’s easy to scoop and breakdown without getting too sticky in the hands, allowing you to have both an easy breakdown and application. It gives controlled volume and texture while remaining extremely lightweight. Due to this it’s fantastic to use with a blow dryer too. It never gets “crunchy”, is easy to restyle, has a beautiful matte finish, and has great endurance. The washout is a breeze, about 90% rinses out with just water, and the scent is very pleasing. As with GG new design, the packaging is gorgeous and is probably my favorite from the line. This is a no hassle work horse product that deserves your attention and won’t let you down!

One of my first cream pomades. Wonderful creamy texture, which breaks down easily for application. I love the fragrance, which is light and very clean. My hair is a bit too coarse around my crown for the hold which this particular cream offers, so I will be searching through the Grim Grease line for a higher hold product. I wish I could use this everyday as I love the scent. Grim Grease offers so many choices, I’m sure I’ll find the perfect product.
