O'Douds Matte Paste is the hair product I keep coming back to, even after 3+ years of use. It's always worked for my hair (see below), but when it came time to restock, I only bought the sample size because it looked like they changed their formula.
The verdict? They somehow made it even better.
It's easier than ever to apply the product, the citrus-y scent is super pleasant, and the hold is SO GOOD.
My hair type: I have lots of VERY straight, thick hair that grows out instead of down. Without product, my sides have lots of volume (in a bad way). Matte Paste does a great job building volume on the top while keeping the sides tamped down.

I don't like this flavor, maybe it's just me. I prefer the dry wax flavor.
