Finally Upgraded MultiMat 3 from Old One I Had for 10 Years
The new Multimat 3 seems sturdier and better made than older versions (which this new one replaced). The colors are improved - the new one is brown and a darker grey (vs orange and light gray). The one I bought will be used strictly on the inside of a 3 person tent, and not on the ground.I am very happy with the purchase.

Versatile tool
I am finding a new use for this mat every time I pull it out. A clean place to rest gear or butts, a second sleeping pad for extra R in the cold, a tent footprint on sand or soft surface, a tent liner to protect floor and that was just last weekend. This thing does it all. I have the duo and you will see this on my back in all but my most UL packouts. Probably not for through hiking unless it’s your sole sleeping pad and I’d say it’s a bit thin for that. If you’re base camping, this is an absolute winner!
