Seems like a no brainer to protect the floor of the tent. I fold it up and wrap it around the tent before putting it in the sack for storage protection too.

Tarp Is a Must Have

While the bottom of the tent (Outfitter) is super strong, the tarp makes setup super easy by helping choose tent placement before you pull out the tent. "Honey, should we put the tent here? No? Okay.... how about this?... perfect." It also creates a guide to make sure the tent is square when staking it into the ground. This tarp is seriously well made and the strength and quality do provide major peace of mind when we were setting the tent up on rocky ground. We used the tent on a cross country roadtrip, setting it up four times over five days. Don't skip the tarp - It's a must have.... just like this tent! So happy we went with Springbar <3

Very High Quality

I considered buying a Kodiak ground tarp for way less money and after receiving the springbar tarp I was glad that I spent the extra money. This is rubberized on the bottom and canvas on the top. It rolls up fairly compact and comes with a storage sac. It was the right choice for protecting my investment in my Skyliner tent.
