The perfect piece
Used this jacket as an outer layer on an elk/mule deer hunt in Montana with temperatures ranging from 4*F to 40*F. I ran it with a synthetic base-layer and a 125-wt. merino wool mid-layer and it performed better than I could have hoped for. It breathes well when moving but also retains heat to stay warm while still hunting. It also did a great job of cutting the wind. I'm so glad I picked this up prior to my hunt. Highly recommend adding this to your kit!

Size/shipping
I’ve made multiple Canis orders and have been pleased with the quality.
Sizing though when it comes to the tops and layering, I’ve found that I need to go up a size. Typically I can wear a med. or large. But with Canis tops I need a large for base/mid and XL for the outer. Now that I know this, I’m good. But before knowing, I was having to return and pay for shipping.
Sleeves are a bit tight.
