Alaska Down Sleeping Bag 15 F

First impressions

At first glance I’m impressed with the quality, features, and extras that come with this bag. The dry bag and storage bag are nice additions. The sleeping pad and pillow sleeves are nicely done, as well as the internal zippered pockets, hood drawstrings, and orange interior. The only reason this sleeping bag didn’t get a 5 star review is because of the sizing. I’m 5’8” and 190-195lbs with a 46” chest and 36” waist and somewhat of a stocky athletic build. You can tell I lift weights but also like tacos… that being said, the footbox feels constricted and there’s no chance I’d sleep in this without atleast 1 or 2 of the side zippers being undone for the added space unless if you prefer to sleep like a mummy. There’s plenty of space in the chest and torso but a few extra inches in the legs and footbox would be a welcome addition. The length of the bag is adequate and I look forward to getting to try this out other than in my basement but buyer beware of the circumferential measurements.
