The item is a Xmas gift so it hasn’t been used yet but I can’t say enough about the customer service. Package was late by that’s on USPS. The gift arrived only two days late. Product in perfect condition and wrapped so securely. This gift box set is completely sold out across the US. I even contacted Opinel directly and their Sales Manager responded personally advising out of stock and no idea when inventory would be available. So I went looking. My daughter is a mushroom hunting maniac and wanted this knife for Xmas almost if not more than her iPhone watch. Well, guess who had it in stock to my ultimate surprise and excitement? Independent Goods! Never heard of them but boy did they execute. Just exceptional. Susan even put a handwritten note card in the order tucked in the crepe paper that lovingly wrapped the gift box. Nice touch! This is THE HOLY GRAIL of mushroom hunting knives. Who needs the new Xbox or PS5? Not me. Absolutely couldn’t be happier. Note/ I never write reviews but the folks at Independent deserve 10 stars! You guys made a girls Xmas wish come true. Thank you!
