I don’t know what it is about this belt, but it just didn’t nail it like I’d anticipated. The sizing was spot on. With my buckle I landed dead center. But… The leather feels less substantial than I expected. I wear a belt buckle, and the rivets were a pain, one of them was stuck and I literally had to take a mallet to it with a couple stiff whacks to break it loose (after many other failed efforts to be less aggressive). There is no way to know how good this belt will be until I have (nearly nearly 15 years worth of) mileage on it like my last belt. I am satisfied… but for the price I was hoping to have been stoked.
