It serves our needs perfectly. Good range - can hear it from the floor downstairs, can pass through walls if not too far apart. There are many different tones so you can choose a more pleasant one that does not sound like a siren or a door bell. Easy to use to adjust volume & the tone too.

This pager comes with 2 buttons. I bought 2 additional buttons so as to put around the house - Fixed one for each of the 2 toilets, one next to the bed and one to be hanged around the neck. Just wanted to make sure that alarm is always reachable. Pager is easy to program and has many melodies to choose from. Signal can penetrate through few walls to activate alarm. Highly recommended if you have elderly at home who may need to be monitored or need mobility assistance.
