Impressive piece of equipment
The Hydrus Paradise touring inflatable paddle board is an impressive piece of equipment for anyone who wants speed, efficiency, and durability without giving up the convenience of an inflatable board. Even for a beginner like myself At 12'6" long and 30" wide, the Paradise hits a nice balance between speed and stability. It glides quickly and tracks remarkably straight. It has been well suited for long-distance paddling, touring, and fitness workouts. While the 30" width is narrower than other boards I have tried and I had to work a little harder on balance to build confidence. One of the biggest strengths of the Paradise is its rigidity. The composite-reinforced outer construction and carbon-fiber stringer belts on the top and bottom give the board a remarkably solid feel. Instead of the bouncing or flexing like on less expensive inflatable SUPs, the Paradise feels much more like a hardboard when I’m paddling. It’s durability is another major selling point. Its construction seems to be built to take a beating. I really like that there are numerous D-ring tie-down points also, making the Paradise practical for carrying stuff like: camping equipment, coolers, fishing gear, or other cargo. Th multiple handles make transporting the board considerably easier. I also really like the US fin box and fin options. Having different fin choices, including a click-in keel fin and a flexible shallow-water fin, makes the board more versatile for different conditions and water depths even though I mainly use the touring keel in the bay. One thing I would like to see included with the Paradise is a high-quality slotted carbon-fiber paddle. A board this fast and capable deserves a premium paddle to match its performance. An included carbon-fiber paddle would make the package feel even more complete and give buyers everything they need to take full advantage of the board right out of the box. Pros Exceptionally fast with excellent straight-line tracking Hardboard-like rigidity for an inflatable SUP Extremely durable construction Limited lifetime warranty Excellent choice for touring, fitness, and long-distance paddling Plenty of D-rings for cargo and gear Versatile fin system with multiple fin options Cons The 30" width requires more balance than wider all-around boards A high-end slotted carbon-fiber paddle would be a welcome addition

Hydrus Paradise is my first inflatable and it is good on speed and stability. Blows up very easily and easy to transport. So far it's been great.
