R & P (raspberry & pistachio)

A very well-balanced and tasty cake!

Everyone loved the cake and claimed it to be the best cake we have had.

I would give the presentation of the cake 5 stars as well as the lightness of the flavour. However, I gave the cake a 3 star rating as I did not ike the flavour because I'm not fond of pistachios in anything, other than eating the nut in natural form, and in my opinion I thought it was way over-priced. I could have made it for a quarter of the cost. However, I purchased it for my daughter's baby shower as it's one of her favourite cakes from the bakery.
