Japanese Curry recipe base

No lie; we've been loving the usual brand of Japanese Curry blocks from the supermarket for a long time. But recent health issues mean we have to seriously reduce our salt intake. And boy, are those curry blocks salty! We've tried this Mingle blend instead and we are hooked. A more subtle flavour here, and not just vast amounts of salt. We love the mild but complex blend of sweet and savoury.

We made this and to be honest ...loved it...I have never put apple with chicken, but followed the recipe on the back and couldn't have been better. definitely on the list for a curry night.

I highly recommend - although I added some frozen mixed vegetables so I made it slightly different from the recipe on the back, it was considered a great success by my husband! I will definitely do it again.
