Received the nutcracker cane today. It's the right size, sturdy, and looks good from a distance. Up close, the seam where they glued the two sides togther becomes fairly obvious, as does that little place my finger drifts to on the side of the knob where they didn't sand down the mismatched edges enough. "One solid piece with no joins" doesn't seem accurate, but it will be fine for those slight uphill section on my morning walks.
