Chilean Carménère
I haven't finished the total process, but it's been in the carboy 6 weeks and it taste's very good. I was extremely impressed with the contents of the kit. It was worth the extra money.

Chilean Carmenere
First time brewing a batch of Carmenere. To be honest, I’d never heard of it. It took a little longer than other wines, but definitely worth the wait. Enjoyed the first bottle a week after bottling. I’m looking forward to tasting the wine after five to six months of aging. I hope to see this wine again in the future.

Good prices, packaging, and quick shipping
I bottled the RJS En Primeur Winery Series Chilean Carménère this week. Its oak tannins were quite evident, and it had a slight amount of acidity, similar but much less than a Sauvignon Blanc. After 6 months in the bottle, I generally give my wines a taste to see how they are developing. The fruit flavors should be more established by then which should make the slight acidity more complementary.
This kit was bought on sale which, with the free shipping, made its total cost competitive with a wine supply store located an hour away. Northern Brewer packaging was excellent, and its shipping speed was first class.
