Absolutely STUNNING
I finally got this darling dress finished. Such a joy to do & in my opinion turned out stunning. The sleeves were too snug to go over her hands & the back of the upper part of the dress was very snug too, but no problem, just adjusted it an 1/8"-1/4" bigger & it was good to go. I have an older AG doll that has 11 1/2" waist. Absolutely LOVED this pattern & loved how the dress turned out. I do a lot of doll clothes for kids that have cancer or have had lost everything in a fire or just children that have had a rough way to go health wise. I'm excited to see how this little gal will like her new outfit Thank you for another great pattern from Pixiefaire & your outstanding designers that help make Pixiefaire a leader in the industry. It was my sincere honor to write this review & to make a little girls dream come true. Thank you for letting me share.

Fine sewing lesson
Steps are clear from photographs. Text is correctly edited. Photos rival bridal magazines. Designs are filled with precious details such as piping, pearl trim, ribbon roses, lace medallion hem insets, perfect back lacing and lace peplum in the shape of a tiny bustle. The designer uses and explains her technique for getting perfect placement of stretched leg and waist elastic. Value in every feature confirms integrity of pricing. One suggested fabric confounded me, what is “bonded lace?” I finally decided to take some white white curtain lace and iron it onto a scarflike medium bondable interfacing sold by “Plantational” through Amazon. I placed the lace face down on a silicone workmat, layered the interfacing adhesive side down over it and pressed with a “wool” setting. I kept a washcloth infused with iron cleaner nearby and polished the faceplate after each segment, taking care not to push the iron sideways over the interfacing. After completing the mate, I let the new fabric cool completely. I noticed none of the adhesive stuck to the silicone. Only the iron picked up some tacky smears. So how would I buy bonded lace if i didn’t create it? I highly recommend this pattern for the intermediate sewer and I thank Pixie Faire for marketing the best 18” girl doll patterns.

Wedding bells
I haven't started yet. My only comment is that it requires a lot of different materials and was very expensive to compile all of them.
